Relying on Autosoft Since 1997

For nearly four decades, KDG Automotive (Kevin Grover GMC) has built its reputation on trust, relationships, and taking care of people. Located in Wagoner, Oklahoma, which is about 40 minutes outside of Tulsa, the GMC dealership serves a loyal customer base made up of local families, farmers, ranchers, and hardworking members of the surrounding lake communities.

Since 1997, Kevin Grover GMC has also relied on Autosoft DMS to help keep the dealership running smoothly across every department.

“We use Autosoft for everything to run the business. Parts, Service, Sales, Accounting, you name it,” said owner Kevin Grover. “I use Autosoft for pulling up reports, whether it’s my parts department report looking at aging on inventory and parts or whether I’m looking at running my age report on used vehicles.” For Grover, the longevity of the relationship speaks for itself. Kevin Grover GMC has been with Autosoft for nearly 30 years because the system continues to deliver what his dealership needs: simplicity, affordability, and dependable support.

Support When and How They Need It

“What really sets Autosoft apart is the simplicity of the system, the price, and the customer support,” Grover said. “I think customer service is second to none.”

That support matters when running a dealership where employees wear multiple hats and every minute counts.

“My office staff can pick up the phone and they can talk to someone and get an answer in a very timely manner,” he explained. “The staff knows that if they get something that’s not balancing or whatever it may be, to contact Autosoft and it will all get sorted out. And it’s not like we have to call support all that often, but when we do, it’s great having good people there to help us.”

Kevin Grover GMC is Doing Good for Good People

The dealership itself reflects the same kind of long-term loyalty and stability. Kevin Grover GMC has been serving the Wagoner area for 39 years, and many employees have spent decades with the business.

“I have a team that is very, very stable,” Grover said. “We have team members that have been with us for three decades. We have great people all over the dealership.” That consistency has helped them earn the trust of generations of customers.

“We have a lot of customers that are second and third generation being here as long as we’ve been here,” Grover said. “We’re selling vehicles to children’s children and grandparents’ children. Our business is trusted and respected.”

But for Grover, the dealership has always been about more than selling vehicles. They are deeply rooted in the community and actively supports local education, athletics, FFA programs, missions, and ministry work throughout the area.

“We’re very supportive of education for students and very supportive of athletics,” he said. “We’re also supportive of FFA and similar programs that build young people and hopefully encourage and impact the next generation to do well and do good and be good community-minded citizens.”

That mission of helping people extends into the culture of the dealership itself.

“A lot of what we do as a business is designed to impact people to last a lifetime, not just something that will help someone short-term,” Grover explained. “That’s my goal; to impact people forever, impact people for life.”

An Investment in Trusted Technology, From a DMS Company That Cares

Grover believes that same customer-focused mindset is one reason Autosoft has been such a good fit for the dealership over the years. He regularly attends 20 Group meetings with other dealers and often hears conversations about expensive DMS systems and difficult transitions between providers.

“Some of the dealers in our 20 Group have changed DMS systems over the years and some use bigger, more expensive systems,” he said. “When they tell me they’re spending $12,000, $16,000, or $18,000 a month for their DMS, I’m blown away.”

For Kevin Grover, the value proposition is simple. “I tell them that they can get the same information from Autosoft for a much lower investment, and with great customer service,” he said.

“Autosoft is comprehensive and does everything I need it to, and they are very customer-friendly,” he said. “I feel like they have the dealer’s interest in mind when you pick up the phone and talk to someone, that their goal is to help you and get your situation resolved right then.”

After nearly three decades with the system, Grover remains confident in the partnership and quick to recommend it to other dealers looking for a dependable DMS provider.
