Autosoft works to positively impact the overall health and well-being of its employees
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa., August, 3, 2017 – Autosoft, Inc., an innovative dealership management system provider, is a 2017 recipient of the annual Cigna Well-Being Award for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and wellness of its employees. Through their online wellness program and other opportunities inside and outside of the office, they’re inspiring their 185 employees to make healthier choices.
With Autosoft’s programs, employees can improve their health metrics by participating in an annual health fair, biometric screenings, weight loss challenges, and personal health assessments. Autosoft offers group activities that include sports leagues, special event outings, and vegetable gardening. They also encourage participation in 5k walks in the community and on-site activities such as CPR training, self-defense classes, yoga classes, lunch-and-learns, vision screenings, and flu shots. In the office, employees always have access to a healthy snack cart and a book cart.
FitThumb, Autosoft’s online wellness program center, gives employees the ability to track their wellness participation and earn medical benefit dollars in a fun and flexible way. “Last year, we were thrilled to give our employees over $30,000 in earned incentives,” said Denise Yarian, Autosoft’s Benefits and Wellness Manager. “Our employees get excited by achieving their personal goals, like lowering their health metrics or running their first 5k race! I enjoy finding new tools, resources, and events for our employees and helping the company become healthier.”
Autosoft also offers employee-led committees:
- Autosoft Cares gives back to the community by fundraising and volunteering for non-profit organizations.
- The A-Team plans and coordinates fun employee outings that can include their families.
- The Wellness Committee provides opportunities to help employees make healthier choices.
- The Safety Committee keeps employees safe and informed in the workplace.
Cigna Well-Being Award applicants are evaluated on various components of their well-being programs, which include overall infrastructure (management support, goals, branding of the program), workplace environment, policies, program implementation, data collection, incentives, and overall participation. All applications are reviewed and judged by an internal review committee from Cigna. To learn more about the Cigna Well-Being award, visit www.cigna.com/health-promotion/well-being-award.
