Software Engineering Manager – Remote

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of our CRM product. Full time remote is expected.

What You’ll do:

    • Lead teams to build great products for Autosoft’s cloud-based software platform
    • Partner with Product Management to plan and prioritize the team’s backlog and balance new features with tech debt
    • Derive as needed, lead with, and report on metrics that matter
    • Drive excellence in execution
    • Nurture a culture that enables everyone to deliver their best work
    • Nurture a culture that drives a sense of urgency
    • Assess your talent needs, recruit, and hire exceptional talent, without compromise
    • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the company

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

    • Experience leading distributed team members
    • People leadership experience (culture, one on ones, relationship, …)
    • Project leadership experience (roadmap, backlog, priorities, deadlines …)
    • Talent leadership experience (staffing, allocation, hiring, on-boarding, …)
    • Great engineering leaders can lead around any tech stack
    • Diversity of experience as an engineering manager (teams and companies)
    • Cloud-native software development is valued (hands on or leading teams)
    • Experience with custom CRM or ecommerce software is valued (hands on or leading teams)
    • Experience in the automotive retail industry is valued
    • Employees who are working remotely 3 or more days each week are considered flex employees. Flex employees are provided a laptop that is essential to perform their specific duties. Home office equipment is not provided by Autosoft and is the responsibility of the flex worker. It is expected that anyone applying for a remote position, has a home office setup to efficiently perform their job.
